Our passion for German Shorthaired Pointers began in California in the early 90's when we hunted behind a friends dog. Since that time we have developed hundreds of dogs for hunting and field competition. Our breeding program strives to produce dogs that are of the highest quality through well thought out, planned breeding and proven breeding stock. All our dogs come from Field Trial lineage and Field Champions and Hall of Fame dogs aren't too far back in the pedigree. We breed for intelligence, bird finding ability, style and intensity on point, and dogs that have an intense desire to hunt. We breed for dogs that are equally comfortable in the house and in the field. All of our breeding stock is evaluated and we breed nothing less than quality bird dogs. Most of which end up as competition dogs and proven before producing puppies for us. We have trained dogs from every "line" in the U.S. and have based a lot of our breeding off of 5xNC/NSDC/NASDC/FC Heide's Mighty City Slicker. We feel this line offers two things that are needed to produce top quality dogs. It offers extreme natural ability and outstanding bird sense. It also produces dogs that are very easy to train. We always have pups and started dogs available. Pups and started dogs are worked regularly on quail and pigeons from the time they start running around. They are well socialized, have traveled in a trailer, staked out, and checkcorded. Prices vary depending on the dog, age, breeding, natural ability, and level of training. If we don't have something that fits your needs, thru our many contacts around the U.S., we'll help you find a suitable dog. We are currently training both hunting dogs and competition dogs year round and we take a limited number of dogs to ensure your dog gets the best training available. For our hunting dog training we design a program that will produce the kind of dog that suits your type of hunting. Whether it's foot hunting or hunting from an ATV or horse, we will produce the type of hunting companion you are after. Our competition program is focused on AKC Horseback Field Trial, AKC Hunt Tests, and NGSPA Hour Championships. We offer full service handling and will campaign your dog for you, or will prepare your dog to be owner handled.
